How enrollment works

  1. 01

    Get in touch

Call (215) 458-7333 or email info.discoverlearngrow@gmail.com. Tell us your child's age and the days you need. We encourage you to visit our facility and meet our team, so you and your children feel at ease and at home with us.

  2. 02

    Tour the room

See the classroom your child would join and meet the teachers who run it. Ask what the morning looks like, where children rest, and how the day is paced. You can ask any questions that matter to your family.

  3. 03

    Enroll and settle in

Complete enrollment and plan a first week that suits your child's routine. We respect that each child brings something unique, and we support intellectual, social, and emotional development. You can ask us how drop-off and pickup will work.

What to have ready

Most families bring enrollment forms, a health form and immunization record, emergency contacts, and the names of people allowed to pick up. Ask us what your child's age group needs. We will tell you exactly what to complete before the first day.

Pack a change of clothes, outdoor gear for the season, and nap items if your child rests here. A comfort object from home helps. Label everything with your child's name so it finds its way back.

Before the first day, decide who drops off and who picks up. Tell us how you want to hear about your child's day. A short, clear goodbye at the door helps the morning start well.

The first weeks

The first days are often shorter while your child gets used to the room. Bring a familiar object from home. A teacher greets your child by name at the door. You can call to check in.

At pickup, teachers tell you how your child ate, slept, played, and rested. Ask about anything you noticed that morning. Most children settle into the routine within a few weeks. Each child goes at their own pace.

What families ask

What about tuition?

Ask about current rates when you call or tour. They depend on your child's age and schedule.

Can we visit before deciding?

Yes. A tour is how most families decide, and children are welcome to come along.

What should my child bring on the first day?

Most families pack a change of clothes, a comfort object, and labeled items for nap or outdoor time. Label everything with your child's name. Ask us what your child's room needs.

How do you handle the first weeks?

Many children start with shorter days and build up as they get comfortable. A familiar object from home — a small toy, a blanket — can help bridge the two places. At pickup, teachers tell you how your child ate, napped, played, and settled. That daily detail is how you two stay connected.

What does a typical day include?

A day usually moves through arrival, play and learning, meals and rest, outdoor time, and pickup. We use progressive educational best practices and support intellectual, social, and emotional development. Ask us how the day is paced for your child's age.

How will I know how my child is doing?

Most updates happen at pickup, when a teacher can tell you how your child ate, napped, played, and settled. You can also ask questions at drop-off or by phone during the day. Staff will share what they know about your child's day.

Do you offer part-time or flexible schedules?

Schedules depend on your child's age group and what openings we have. discoverlearngrow@gmail. com to ask what is available for the days you need.

What if there is no place right now?

Families can ask to be told when a place opens for their child's age. Add your name and the age group you need, and ask staff how the list works.

What should I ask on the tour?

Ask about hours, meals, and how pickup works. Ask how the first weeks are handled and how the day runs for your child's age. Every family's questions are different, and we encourage you to visit and meet our team.
